UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital opened a new pediatric emergency department on the Parnasssus campus in April to help fill the need for child-focused emergency services in San Francisco.

UCSF classmates Noah Hawthorne and Kris Coontz graduated this month from the School of Medicine after starting a nonprofit dedicated to improving health care for people in Nicaragua.
