UCSF Analysis Shows Newer Surgery for Neck Pain May Be Better
A new surgery for cervical disc disease in the neck may restore range of motion and reduce repeat surgeries in some younger patients, according to a team of neurosurgeons from UCSF.

Michael Weiner, who is a professor at UCSF and an investigator of the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI), accepted the 2011 Ronald and Nancy Reagan Research Award from the Alzheimer’s Association on behalf of the ADNI.
