Jaime Sepúlveda, who will join the University as executive director of UCSF Global Health Sciences on September 1, delivered a commencement address to the 2011 Class of Masters of Sciences in Global Health.

A UCSF-led pilot study in San Francisco has found the highest levels ever reported among pregnant women worldwide of banned chemicals used in flame retardants, a likely result, they believe, of California’s strict flammability regulations.

UCSF, the only graduate health sciences university in the UC system, has been awarded four separate education accreditations this year, with stellar grades in every case.
