Individuals who are treated for cancer during childhood have a significantly higher risk of developing gastrointestinal (GI) complications — from mild to severe — later in life, according to a study led by UCSF.

<p>Eric Vermillion, associate vice chancellor of finance, has been promoted to vice chancellor of finance, in recognition of his increased scope of responsibilities during the last three years and 32-year commitment to UCSF.</p>
